What Can You Expect From Me as Your Coach?
As your coach, I will inspire you to maximize your strengths and reach your potential. But how do I do this? The International Coach Federation lists these as the coach’s responsibility:
Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve
Encourage client self-discovery
Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies
Hold the client responsible and accountable
I will bring whatever tools, strategies and techniques to the table that can best help you in your developmental process.
What Can You Expect in a Coaching Session?
If you sign up with me for coaching, you will receive a welcome packet that will give you some preliminary tools to help you get started and make the most of each of your sessions.
A session is 50 minutes long and is typically done over the phone and sometimes face-to-face. The first session will focus on beginning to identify your priorities and developing specific and meaningful goals and results that you desire from the coaching process.
Between sessions, you will be required to complete agreed upon action steps and “homework” that will move you to your goal. As your coach, I will provide you with tools and resources that can help you with this process.
Subsequent sessions will follow-up with how you are progressing, helping you problem solve obstacles you have encountered, and work toward developing next steps and strategies to take. I will support you, hold you accountable, challenge you to grow and celebrate with you as you achieve the results you want.
